David-Muir
David Muir (born August 25, 1949) is an American journalist as well as anchor and reporter. Most well-known is for World News Tonight. The most viewed news show across America can be described as his spectacular series that features gossip about celebrities motion-animated gestures and clips. In addition, he has his Emmy-nominated series Made In America. Prior to his appointment as anchor of ABC World News Tonight he was the anchor in charge for the anchor who was his predecessor Diane Sawyer. He's covered a number of show specials during the primetime hours of ABC News some recent ones being Breaking Point: Heroin in America as well as Flashpoint: Refugees in America. He has reported on news across the globe, including in Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti. He has been awarded numerous Emmy Awards, Edward R. Murrow Awards, and other honors from the Associated Press.
